Key to My Heart is a great design that shows that you can dress up an economical glass heart and make it into a show stopper! Is this a great design or WHAT? Make it in your choice of silver or gold, then hang it from a simple chain, a ribbon, or whatever you like! We're selling a KIT for the dark ruby red and version shown above as well as an assortment of other colors! Something for everyone!
The pendant kit includes the 24x22mm Glass Heart, the key charm, the pendant cap, bead cap, 2mm bead, oval and round jump rings needed to make the pendant and comes in your choice of gold or silver.
If you wish to hang your pendant on a chain similar to that shown in the picture, we are selling sterling silver chain by the inch, along with a lobster clasp and jump ring kit to allow you to complete your chain to your preferred length.
IMPORTANT ~ Kits do NOT include the headpin! You need to choose your preferred style of headpin and it needs to be at least 2" long. Choose standard gauge if you plan to finish with a simple loop or 24 gauge if you plan to make a wrapped loop! We do this so that you can make your OWN choice on how you want to make your pendant!
Another optional addition ~ make your pendant into a slider using a bail made for just that purpose! SCROLL DOWN to the bottom for an example of a heart pendant with a slider bail!
How to make the basic pendant ~ Stack on a 2" headpin in this order:
Beaded Bead Cap
Glass Heart Luna Pendant Cap 2mm Round Bead
Make preferred style of loop ~ wrapped loop or plain loop ~ and attach to Round Jump Ring
Attach Key Charm to Round Jump Ring using Oval Jump Ring
This heart pendant, which is similar to but not the same as Key to My Heart, has been hung from a bail, converting it into a slider that you can use on different necklaces and chains! This makes your pendant more versatile! For a few pennies more, extend the value and the beauty of this little work of art by adding a bail and transforming your pendant into a slider!
