The Swarovski crystal beaded chain that is the base of the bracelet & necklace is a separate purchase for the NECKLACE KIT ONLY (the chain is included in the complete Bracelet Kit) to enable you to create the length of necklace and the number of strands you prefer.  The chain is sold by the inch.  A double strand necklace with a finished length of 17" is shown.
 
In deciding the amount of chain for your necklace, here is the designer's guidelines: 
 
 SINGLE STRAND: 17" necklace = 20" chain
DOUBLE STRAND: 17" necklace = 36" chain

TO INCREASE necklace length 1":
ADD 1" chain for single strand: ADD 2" for double
 
In addition, if you wish to purchase the beaded chain and put together your own bracelet kit, select the number of inches of chain desired.  Chain is sold in whole inches.  The Designer kit includes 7 inches of chain for a bracelet with an overall length of 7.75 inches.
