We feature Swarovski point back crystal rhinestones. They are faceted and cut similarly to a faceted gemstone. Most have a foil backing to enhance reflectivity. Opaque stones, such as Jet Black, may not have a foil backing. Any unfoiled stone are described as such. Otherwise, you can assume the back of the stone is foiled.
These stones can be set using epoxy adhesive (recommended) or used without an adhesive in prong-set jewelry settings. The manufacturer strongly recommend customers DO NOT use crazy glue or super glue or similar products with these rhinestones as that kind of adhesive will remove the foil backing over time and negatively affect the appearance. The manufacturer recommends ONLY 2 part epoxy adhesive to set stones in these clasps.
We offer round crystal rhinestones, called chatons, as well as other "fancy facet" shapes. Use these in our beautiful Alacarte designer clasps, or in other settings you already have.
